ELIZABETH FULGARO
Author, Speaker,
Singer/Songwriter

Born and raised in Northern
California by parents who
instilled early the principle of
living one's Christian faith
versus merely reciting it.

She began writing as a young girl
and composed her first music in
high school.  Although she is
author or co-author of several
books and numerous articles on
a variety of topics, her writing
didn't take on true direction until
she recommitted herself to
serving Christ in 1992.

Elizabeth now dedicates her
writing and composing
exclusively to those projects
where she feels God's call.

She has a love for the Body of
Christ and a heart for unity of
its many varied parts through
worship, prayer and service.
Her daily focus is seeking God’s
will and staying in it so His
supernatural ways can be
revealed in her natural life and to
equip others to do the same.

Elizabeth has written a variety
of books, including The Tree,
and sends out a weekly e-
devotional, His Touch of Hope,
to subscribers.  She was also
contributing writer on 9/11
widow Deena Burnett’s 2006
book, Fighting Back – Living
Life Beyond Ourselves.

In 2004 she was anointed into
worship ministry and began
receiving a new sound from the
Lord.  Since then she has
composed over 200 new
worship songs.  Her first
worship CD, ASCEND IN
WORSHIP, was released in late
2006.

She has a heart for our troops
serving in the War on Terror and
has recorded the songs "STAND
UP" and "YOU CARRY ME"
to support their efforts and
comfort the families of the fallen.

Through her inspired writing,
speaking and anointed worship
music Elizabeth brings seeking
Christians everywhere tools for
transformed living, equipping
the Body of Christ to
understand, embrace and walk
out Spirit-filled living, hearing
His voice and following where
our Master Shepherd leads.

She lives in San Ramon,
California with her husband and
their three children.

Cindy and her friends are amazing!!!  They welcomed me to the D.C. area with open
arms, fed me and drove me everywhere the Lord led.  More importantly on a day-in,
day-out basis these men and women support our troops, doing whatever they can to
serve those who serve us (especially our wounded).  They are selfless and
committed!  I am honored and privileged beyond words to know them!  On
September 9th we all participated in the National Freedom Walk: an estimated
10,000 people in total spending their Sunday morning walking from the Lincoln
Memorial to the Pentagon in honor of those who died in the 9/11/01 attack on the
Pentagon.  Again an honor - and God had some appointments for me along the
way.  At the check-in, I paused to give a copy of STAND UP to one of the organizers.
As we spoke, the only chaplain I happen to know from the Pentagon "happened" to
walk up and stand next to me.  He had his fatigues on - so I knew who he was, but
he had no idea who I was as we have only communicated via email over the past
year!  I had just commented to God how I wished I had brought his phone number so
I could try to connect with him to get him a copy of STAND UP, but the trip had come
up so suddenly I had forgotten.  Now here God brings him to where I am!  I am in
awe....and I DID get to give him a copy of STAND UP (after introducing myself).  On
Monday, September 10th I was honored to support our troops by standing with
members of several pro troop organizations during a press conference next to
Capitol Hill, then to walk the Hill with others.  I handed out copies of STAND UP to
our legislators, as a wife and mother asking the troops be able to fight to victory.
General Petraeus was testifying on Capitol Hill that day.  As only God could set it up,
late in the day a small group of us ended up in the hearing room only two rows
behind him in "staff" seating, so we privately provided prayer cover.  On almost each
of the days in D.C. the wounded were visited and copies of STAND UP, Ascend In
Worship and The Tree handed out as God led. And we even got to visit Sam and
worship and pray in His room with His family!  With me I had brought a prayer scarf
from a friend which had been anointed and prayed over by several different prayer
groups from different denominations before the trip....We learned after I started
home that Sam was considered improved enough to no longer be "comatose".  All
praise to God, whose Wisdom and Way confounds the world's wise (who said Sam
had no hope of survival).

God's ways are never our ways.  They are always superior!  Though attendance at
Spiritual Spa was lower than hoped, it has already led to a referral for a speaking
engagement for a Christian Business Women's Group in December...We need to
remember never to tell God how much of anything we need.  He alone knows.
Praising Him again for His perfect Way!

The Spiritual Spa today was terrific even though attendance due to summer
vacations was very low.  On the way home I asked the Lord once again for
confirmation that this is indeed His path (because I only want His Way!)  When I
arrived home there was a postcard from Tamara which had been lost in the mail.  It
was a postcard from Jerusalem to tell me that she had prayed for my ministry at the
Wailing Wall during her trip there in July. God delayed the postcard's arrival until a
day I needed encouragement.  In addition, on email was a wonderful note from
Christian and military artist, Kenneth A. Chandler of Columella Arts in Arizona.
Attached to the email was a wonderful piece of military art designed especially for
STAND UP.  I felt awed, privileged and richly blessed.  The path was confirmed.

New STAND UP CDs are in!!! God is faithful. They are just in time for Saturday's
Spiritual Spa.  Weeks ago He laid on my heart they would be ready for pick-up on
the 16th.  This afternoon He then laid on my heart to begin driving out to Turlock to
pick them up BEFORE Mike called to say they had arrived....I obeyed.  About
halfway there the phone call came that the CDs were at the studio.  Yes, indeed.
God is faithful.

Walking out God's will is full of surprises.  Because I have few personal contacts with
radio stations, I have been looking for people who know people in radio, hoping to
find some who are willing to air STAND UP on 9/11/07 to encourage our troops and
encourage our nation to support them and their families.  So yesterday the Lord laid
on my heart to call Tamara in Southern California to see if she has contact to
anyone in radio.  Instead we end up talking about our military and she shares the
story of her cousin Cindy's son who wanted to join the military and now can only
because he had a miracle healing from a coma caused by a hit and run driver.  I
share with Tamara the story of Sam, the young Marine in a coma for whom I am
daily praying.  Come to find out her cousin lives in Maryland only a short distance
from Bethesda Naval Hospital where Sam is currently being treated.  Her cousin,
Cindy, agrees to get in touch with the Marine's family to encourage them to keep
praying because miracles do happen!  Today, with Tamara's permission, I called
Cindy to see if through her troop-supporting friends someone might know someone
in radio.  Instead, she invited me to come to Washington, D.C. with STAND UP.  We
decided to look at the 9/11/07 timeframe.  What an amazing turn of events!  I never
thought the first place I would visit our wounded with the music would be Walter
Reed Medical Center and I'll get to visit Sam and his family at Bethesda Naval
Hospital, too!

Prayer and worship are what get me through.  Prayer and worship are catalysts to
release God's sovereign, almighty power into our lives in supernatural ways to
accomplish His purposes.  People know I pray and I take my prayer assignments
seriously. It is also known that I pray by individuals serving in our military by name.
For this reason I received a thrice forwarded email to pray for a young Marine who
was seriously injured in an IED blast.  He was the only survivor in his HumVee and
due to the severity of his brain injury, doctors have said neither will he.  However,
his family believes in the power of prayer.  His aunt has sent out a request for those
who will to join them in prayer for a miracle.  The Marine's name is Sam.  He is
currently in a coma. I am standing with them in agreement that it is not God's intent
Sam die.  I am honored to pray.
